Good News, Bad News

Well, Today, I managed to do nothing and I didn't manage to get my car put into the shop to find out about the overheating problem. I got caught in a "I need to do such and such and that requires my car" and "I need to put the car in." I managed to do neither in true Bingoguy fashion.

I had to drop my spare set of keys to my place off at Veronica's because she's going to stop by on Saturday sometime and feed the animals while I am out of town at my best friends wedding. It was nice to talk to her in person again. There's still something there dammit and I'll be damned if I know why. I arrived at her place about 3:40 because I wanted to run down to work and play one of the jackpot games I'm actually allowed to play. She wondered why I was early and I did explain myself. I didn't want her to think I was actually early for something. I said I'd stop by at 4. But that would have made getting to work a little tight.

This one game I'm allowed to play at work was for $3000 in 56 calls or less. Well, There's good news and bad news to report after playing this game. The Good News is I won the game. The Bad News is I did it on the 57th call. One call too late to win the three grand. Oh well, I won $180 for winning all by myself. I took off a couple of games later to go find something to eat. Now, the closest place to get something to eat is Subway which happens to be right beside the damn casino.

Yep! You guessed it. I detoured my ass through the casino before Subway. I sat down at the Pai Gow table and put out $40. I only had about an 30-35 mintues before I had to leave back to work to actually do my job. As my luck would have it I went on a roll pretty much from the get go. I think I lost one hand and the rest I either won or pushed on. I made another $60 on top of my inital $40. So all totalled I was up $220. It was difficult to drag my ass off that table because I was doing fairly well but I had to go to work. I contemplated going back but I thought why tempt fate at this moment since I have a fairly expensive trip out of town to make tomorrow. I am not sure when I'll get away tomorrow. Not when I thought I would orignally. It's a long weekend too so gotta remember the traffic.
