Still No Car

Well, I've felt like I didn't have anything really that exciting to say the last few days. Has it really been 7 days? wow.

Well, I'm still without a car. The guy working on my Shadow has decided that there's way too much extra stuff to do on it that's its gonna turn into a job well over $2000 dollars to get it up and running again.

That's really frustrating. But, sigh, it's my own damn fault. I waited way too long to make a decision about the Shadow and then when I made a decision I put it off way too long before I actually did something about it.

So, He's going to try and get my money back from the wrecker for the engine and then he said he'd help me find another car.

I decided to give my mom a call. Tell her that I've just had no luck with cars the last few years and I think it's time I tried to buy a new car. I am pretty sure I afford a monthly payment on a car. Especially if I re-arrange something things I'm currently paying for. For Example, Lowering my Cell phone plan. I can drop that from $70 to $20 a month by just going to evening and weekends free. I also could finally get off my ass and cancel my dial up connection to the internet. I've never bothered to do this. I've had cable now for 2 yrs. I hate to point out my dial up account is around $25 a month. Which quick math says I've given away $600 over the past two year for nothing. God, Looking at that figure makes me ill. I'm not too bright. I'm also extremely lazy.

There's also a couple hundred dollars in perscription that my medical coverage from work will pay me back for. I just need to send in the forms. Let's not even go to the fact I rarely file my T@xes (because I never owe) and that would be brilliant to do now since I am about 3 years behind.

It's always been a good way to save money for me. That way I don't have it and don't spend it until I need it.

I'm a Loser. It's ok. I am aware of it.

Well, The Chick is off to an exotic location for a week. She's leaving me her car to get around as long as I help her roomie get her kid around when she needs to.
