Life of a Shift Worker

Oh Boy, I didn't do a damn thing today. Well, that was probably because I can't seem to go to bed at a decent hour and then I wake up at like 6am.

By the time I feel tired enough to try sleeping again the workmen have started again. Today on BOTH sides of my place. Hammering on my bedroom side and putting up scaffolding on my living room side. Have I ever mentioned there's no middle ground in my place?

Ok this is a bit embarassing but I was so tired and there was no quiet place to sleep I climbed to the top of my stairs with my comforter and slept on the floor on the entry landing of my place. (That's the only kind of middle ground in my place and it was semi-quiet as it can be with workmen working on both sides of my condo.

It still wasn't the best place for sleep. So, I never felt fully rested and I probably needed to go out and find some food to eat but I was so exhausted I couldn't get up the energy to shower. Oh well, back to the grind tomorrow. I wish they'd finish one side of my place so I could at least have a place to sleep again.
