Ring A Ding a Ling

Captain's Log - Personal, Stardate 200301.24

I came home from work today and had been home for only a few minutes when my phone rang. I didn't answer it.

I, then went about checking email and and reading some journals and checking in on my chat rooms. The phone rang again. Then around 7:30 my cell phone rang. I didn't answer those either.

Beep Beep from my cell phone. Message Waiting. I listened to the message it was Samantha. That was easy to figure out. I finally talked to her online around 8:30 and said call me around 9. She phoned and 9 and I said "Y'know Tomorrow would be a better day for me since I don't have to work in the morning on Saturday". She agreed and said goodbye.

The phone rang moments later and she said because her sister was coming into town tomorrow and then her mom later in the weekend that she would be busy all weekend. I figure that retaliation for wanting my own space and trying to be nice about it.

I suppose I should be flattered that someone is making the effort to contact me. The thing that made me cringe was the fact I barely had gotten in the door and sat down when my phone rang. I am not a big fan of the phone to begin with.

Oh well, If we can't weather this and work out the my space, her space, our space well, then we aren't meant for each other.
