Nice Night Out Only $260

Well, This afternoon I was sitting on my computer contemplating my uselessness over my two days off when Christine sent me an email stating she was going to bingo tonight and might see me there.

As I was on my day off, I thought, No you won't.

I was thinking to myself that I reacted rather strangely to the news she had moved in with her boyfriend. Proof positive you should tell someone you like them and get turned down than let it linger inside you until they find someone else. It's not that I am jealous. I'm just disappointed that it couldn't be me. (Ya, I like a lot of different women, but it gathers up over time. I had feelings for Christine before I even started this journal. So do the math.) Anyway, I thought it would be good sportmanship of me to just go play bingo for once in my life with Christine and her parents. I knew Christine wouldn't mind and I know her parents think I am a nice guy. So I put $40 bux in my wallet and went to bingo.

We had a nice time chatting over the course of the evening. It was only mindly annoying by the old lady sitting at our table that kept bantering with Christine's Dad. At one point she said something incredibly stupid and Christine's mother looked at me and rolled her eyes. (It should be noted here that Christine's mom is like the most accepting, laugh at anything kind of person.) I just smiled back her quite big in complete understanding. What was funny to me was Christine's Dad is such a nice guy too he just kept talking to her. I don't think the conversation bothered him at all even if he didn't completely understand everything she was talking about.

Christine won a game, Christine's Mom won a game and the nutty lady won as well. Obviously it was Ladies Night cause Christine's Dad and I never won a plum nickle.

The four of us then took off to the Casino. I walked off like a zombie to the Pai Gow table. Where I proceeded to drop $200 bux. About midnight (while I was probably down about $100) they came up to my table and said they were leaving and wondered if I wanted a ride back to my car. I said, no I was going to try and break even (hahahaha) and leave.

So I dropped about $260 tonight. Woohoo. But it was nice night out and I think I proved I could hang out with Christine and not be a mopey disgruntled male friend. I'm a friend and maybe even friend of the entire family so it's all good.

Oh well, back to the grind tomorrow.
