Go Ahead, Make My Day

Well, Isn't life funny? Weetabix mentioned me in here diary entry. It made me smile. Such a simple person I am, that these things small things impress me.

Well, the snow definitely fell on us today. There's about a foot of snow out there. I haven't yet ventured outside. It is, of course, Sunday. I don't do anything on Sunday anyway. So, I've been sitting at home reading "Harry Potter". I've made it up to page 65 for those keeping score.

I was pulled from my reading by a phone call from Veronica. It was very nice she called to tell me how her little "slumber" party with her two friends went. She also mentioned she loved to have me there cuddling with her. I'm having a good day for women making my day. Perhaps later I will trek the snow filled sidewalks to her place. (It's about 30 minutes walk from here, one nice big hill too.)

I wonder how work was today. I'm pretty glad I am not the daytime caller today. Egads, That much snow would probably stop a few people from coming. Add to that I gave away one of bigger jackpots away again. Probably was a bit of ghost town this morning.

Oh well, Hopefully the roads will be clearer and I can drive to work. I don't want to take the bus. But, at least, I'm on dayshift so the bus IS an option. If it was a night shift I could get to work but I wouldn't be able to get home because the buses stop running long before I get off work.

I need to make myself some food, I'm hungry.
