Laziness, My Skill

It's another late night entry. Surprise, Surprise, Surprise! [Spoken like Gomer Pyle for those missing the reference.]

Actually I just woke up about 20 minutes ago. I fell asleep on the couch around 9pm, I think. Anyway, I woke up. I had left the computer on from playing Diablo II most of the day. I probably played more Diablo II the last two days than did anything else. It's a sad existance.

While I was playing today the phone rang. It was the asst manager at work phoning to ask me if I'd seen the denial of my holiday requests. Do I find this shocking? No. I take a week off about every 6 months (at least I try to). Every time I put in a holiday request and I do mean EVERYTIME it gets denied. I think they're all jealous because I like to take a week off that is either preceeded or followed by my scheduled two days off so I get 9 days off. Anyway, She wanted to know if I want to take the following week off because she was doing the schedule for next week. I told her I'd think about it and tell her tomorrow. She then proceeded to tell how little my options were. I just replied I'd look at it and get back to her. There is about 2 other people capable of doing my job aside from the other 2 people who do my job on a regular basis when I am not there. This creates them a scheduling nightmare when any of the 3 full timers asks for time off. Which is the time they tell you how "you're hard to replace." but spin it around on them and imply that they can't function without you and they'll tell you any idiot could do my job. Sometimes I like to do that just to see them talk out of both sides of their mouth in the same conversation. The small things in life that amuse me. I, also, wonder why they they think I am an asshole. [Insert Manical Laughter Here]

Note to Weetabix : I'm putting in a guestbook, I'm just INCREDIBLY lazy lately. I'm lazy to a whole new level. So you'll have to be patient with me.

I work in the morning. So, I should go back to bed so I can get up early enough to do laundry so I can go to work. See, Told ya I was lazy.
