And the Doc Says...

Well, I had a very nice chat with my doctor today. He's an incredibly friendly fellow and I feel sometimes I really fluked out in finding him when I moved to this city and I needed to find a local doctor. He's just incredibly easy to talk to and really made me feel at ease about the situations I've been going through of late. In a word he was encouraging. He decided that I should go on Celexa for my depression. He feels it has the least of the side effects. I read about it and we'll see how it goes. I'm pretty busy this weekend and back to bingo work right after so I'll wait for my night shifts to start on the medication just to avoid any problems with driving since I have to do a fair bit of driving in this city to get to any of my work related duties.

He also said I need to start seeing my therapist again. As well as coming back to see him in two weeks to obviously talk about how the medication is effecting me.

I wasn't very satisified with the job I did on the elemtary school dance I did tonight. It just never gained a flow and I was fighting reverb (damn gymnasiums) all night. But they seemed to enjoy themselves. Oh well, the real test is Saturday Night and the High School Prom. High School Students are fussy.

Speaking of High Schools, I was very saddened to read about the shootings in Germany. We are a violent race. We prove it over and over again.
