Weekend Update

In the Effort to keep the 3 readers that read this crap on the weekend entertained HERE YA GO!

I really don't know how to motivate myself. See, It goes like this. Tomorrow is Mother's Day. If you've been reading me lately then you know a little while ago my Mom was in the hospital with Pneumonia. She'd been in the hospital for awhile. I haven't called over there and they've (My Sister) have only called over once after the initial conversation about my Mom. Nothing has ever been really bad news.

Anyway, I figured since my days off fell on Friday and Saturday before Mother's Day, I would head home and visit my mom. Friday came and went and I was exhausted and couldn't get my ass motivated. Today, Saturday, I'm moving but then molasses in January moves faster than I am moving. I wanted to take off early. Then I put it off til 3pm. I just realized an hour ago that there's no way I'd get out of here by 3. So, in an effort to motivate myself. Well, I sat down here and confessed my inability. I'm sure I am using it as another stalling tactic but it's productive in a way.

The Chick is keeping her distance. I suspected probably moreso than I wanted but then I'm sure from her point of view. I'm doing the "Come Here, Go Away" routine to her. I just wanted her to back off a little bit, probably moreso off calling me on the phone.

One final note. I won my $100 bet with The Chick's Dad but the cost seems to have been the home team Canucks got bumped out of the playoffs by the Upstart Wild. That's how my luck goes.
