Not So Random Notes...

I'm really lacking the whole update mode lately. There was a private entry update a week ago or so.

I've been on holidays for the past week and still have a day to go. Although I really haven't done anything overly productive with myself and my sleep pattern is just as screwed up as it's every been I've been enjoying myself.

If you're someone who checks into my BLOG from time to time you'll probably have seen a few updates of sorts there. Mostly Poker Playing updates because I've played "JUST A LITTLE" Poker lately.

I went out of town for about 3 days and I visited my dad. That went well but 3 days is obviously too long for the Water & Oil type relationship my father and I have. We were bickering at each other by day 2. I'm a bit concerned because in the 3 days I was there I never heard boo from any of my sisters. I don't know if they're staying in touch with my dad at all. Unfortunately, if that's true, this is just my dad getting the kharma returned for being a bit of a cantankerous ass (note taken) to his family over the past 40 years.

It was an interesting trip. I got a chance to see a few different friends than I normally see on this trip and was generally pleased with how everything went.

I did go with one friend to the casino while I was there and won $125 on the slot machines. I don't normally play slots but then I really don't go with others to the casino anymore because I bore them with my play of the table games. It basically paid for a chunk of my trip out of town and that's was awesome!

I came out of the Diary Closet, so to speak, and met up with the VERY lovely and alluring Oddsfish! Meeting her over dinner and dessert was one of the highlights of my three days spent out of town!

I have to make one comment (hopefully Oddsfish will understand why I find it humourous) I gave her a ride home after dinner as she was getting out of the car she quickly turned and stuck out her hand. I don't know if she's read back far into my blatherings and has some knowledge to how bad I can be! I'll say, for the benefit of those that thing I'm a PIGDOG (and otherwise), that I had no expectations when I offered her a ride home and I didn't even think of shaking hands with her let alone anything else. The gesture was awesome though and amused me muchly.

She's a charming and witty young gal and easy on the eyes. I look forward to reading her entries explaining "How to Eat Chocolate Bars!"

Completely unrelated (and because I'm a traffic whore) I've joined Blog Explosion! I actually joined it to drive traffic to my rarely read blog but thought I'd added both because this place can be a better read at times.
