Well, Where was I?

I came down with Strep A from The Chick. That was AMUSING. I couldn't believe how zapped I felt. It took everything I had to move from the sofa to the bed. That's about as far as I got in a week. I would get a splitting headache from looking at my computer monitor so you'll have to excuse the lack of updates. Once I was up and around I went right back to work.

It was really great to get back to work after being off close to a week. As Lazy as my ass is if I am sitting around unable to do anything I really do get stir crazy. It's pretty sad when you look forward to going to work but that was me.

While I was off sick the news within the family just got worse. First off, My mom has been diagnosed with Lung Cancer. They've now decided to go with Radiation Therapy and not with the Lung Removal. This bothers me on so many levels it's incredible. All I can say is my mom is keeping her spirits up.

The other bad news came from my cousin's family. My cousin and a friend went on a 5 day outdoors/camping trip. They were reported missing when they didn't return to work. Their bodies were found over the next couple of days. Looks like they were victims of bad weather from mother nature.

He was one of my nicer cousins. He came and visited me a few times after I had first moved to this town. He always seemed geninuely interested in what was going on in my life. He will be missed.

So, if you wondered why I haven't been updating that's part of it. I've been spending an awful lot of time with The Chick since I got better too. Alot of that time at her place, where I'm uncomfortable doing updates from, and haven't been home.

I'll try to be better.
