On a Need to Know Basis

Here's another clue the world's got some fucked up Priorities to it.

I can think of many things to sue big corporations over the death of birds flying into Comm Towers is NOT one of them. Fuck. Give me the money they are going to waste fighting that and I'll cloth some homeless people or help educate under privilaged kids or buy a yacht.

Anyway, The Chick's Roomie still has the car. She told me she'd return it to me at around 11am yesterday. I guess she really meant 11am TODAY. I sent her an Instant Message asking her if she was going to return the car sometime. She laid it on with the excuses about not getting home until late (using a friend being in the hospital that she hadn't wanted to go see anyway as part of the excuse.)

The Problem is I have 10 years on this chick and I'm the King Of Making Excuses so I sniff them a mile away. What do they say? Don't try and Bullshit a Bullshitter?

So, I never did get out and look at cars. It was probably my own excuse to not go but I wanted to see if the Roomie would actually bother to contact me with out my prompting. Oh well, now I truely know what to expect and shouldn't let it bother me anymore.

I was also chatting with an old friend via IM and they were going on and on about how she couldn't believe how her mother and father have hidden and lied about things in their pasts. How it's her RIGHT to know all these things. Which lead me to ask the question "Can't You Respect the fact maybe they don't wanna deal with it?"

I'm the kind of person who thinks along the lines of If you don't want to tell me something then fine. I, of course, reserve the right to do the exact same thing.

People are on a "Need to Know" basis. Whatever they know is all they need to know.
