How much is too much?

I can't really make this a long entry. I've got to get my ass moving. I'm exhausted because I've been distracting myself all day. I didn't sleep enough considering I've got to work until 1am.

The reason behind this is because The Chick ended up at the hospital yesterday night while I was at work. She's had what seems to be a chest cold the last little while. Not so. She's on oxygen in the emergency and is waiting a CT Scan. She's been there almost 24 hours now. I went to see her after work once I found out where she was. She was sitting there looking so tired so I told her to lay down while she was waiting for the doctor. At one point I thought she stopped breathing. In any case, it went pretty damn shallow and it freaked me out. I couldn't stop myself from thinking about my mom and the impending situation there. It almost overwhelmed me at that point. I'm a bit lost which is why I've probably spent the day trying to distract myself from life. My days off start tomorrow and I'm off work for a week in about a week. Sigh.
