Chef Bingoguy

Once upon a time in a far away land there was a guy named Bingoguy and he could actually cook.

Last night, I cooked dinner. It was actually so damn good (and simple) I was impressed with myself. But in actual fact I cheated so I can't take all the credit.

I've got to thank Uncle Ben.

Uncle Ben's Mushroom Rice. Yeah, the package stuff. Although in my defense. I'm the one who fried up the chicken, in onion and garlic, no less. Also, after boiling up the Rice and letting it cool somewhat I threw it into the frying pan with my chicken and fried it together.

So I get points for creativity? God knows boiled rice isn't as good as fried.

The only good thing that's happening with me getting off my ass and cooking dinners is that I'm starting to remember the little "tricks" that take make an average meal something more interesting. Like I just remembered a simple one with rice in my head now. Fried rice with Scrambled Egg. You scramble and cook the egg first then break it up and toss the rice (boiled the day before and let cool in the fridge) and fry it up. Mmmm.

No, I don't have anything important to say, really. I am actually working on an entry for my other diary ( My Soundtrack ) which at the time I wrote this only had the next songs lyrics in place not the actual entry but I'm getting to that soon.
