2003-04-22 - 7:10 a.m. Oh Shit! Two Entries, Back to Back. The first one can be found here. I was checking my email today. I do this occasionally cause I like to clear out the spam that I get. I did finally put a filter in to catch the one's Andrew's spam killer marks and so they automatically go to trash. Although, in my mail was an alert that someone had signed my guestbook. This person had signed my guestbook. I read the entry and said "Oh Shit!" The reason I said that was because lately I'd been having the thought that it's actually really easy to search for "Bingo" on a search engine and find my journal. I guess I never thought other people within the industry would ever hit a search engine and search for "Bingo". I'm not too fuckin' smart am I? [Painful Laugh] I've always attempted to be fairly vague about the actual whereabouts of myself and where I work. Only because well, I'm never too kind to people around me who piss me off from time to time. They get it here. Here, instead of in person. It has become more of thought of late because I'd been noticing more specific searches that brought my journal to the top of the list. I was pleased to notice that Bingoguy.com beat me out for top search for "Bingoguy" on Google. Now I can readily admit that I don't know the person that signed my guestbook. Although within Industry Circles it probably wouldn't take long to link us. This logic I base on the whole "Six Degrees of Seperation" theroy. So, hopefully the person in question and myself can co-exist without advertising each other to our fellow workers. I've come to like my journal and the 200+ entries I've written.
