Getting out can hurt like hell

I got out of the house today. I know it's shocking, isn't it?

Well, I slept all day Sunday and I woke up about 6am. I farted around on my computer for a bit and then took a shower and then decided I should go have breakfast. (I've been over the fact I eat out mostly in other entires)

I went to one of those "family" restaurant places. They usually have fairly reasonable prices when it comes to things like breakfast. Anyway, Food was adequate and I enjoyed myself. I, then, decided to it was time to go shop.

At work I am required to wear black pants. The two pairs I wear at work most often are not really in good shape anymore. They're definitely showing signs of being worn for a year alternately day after day. I went to Zellers and to Sears and I couldn't find a damn thing. So, I'll have to go looking again. I'd like to find a pair that don't cost me $50. Since they face so much wear and tear that you're replacing them constantly no matter how much you pay.

My next stop was to a second had shop. Veronica had been there the day before and saw a four poster bed. Wasn't quite what I was looking for. I chatted with the girl behind the counter for a minute. I mentioned that I would prefer to find an Iron Four Poster Bed. She gave me the "Oh, Kinky Guy" Look and then said "Oh, Those are kind of rare". To which I replied yes, smiled and left.

I went the casino next and dropped $100 in about an hour. There goes my entertainment budget for the month. LOL. Oh well, I don't go to the casino that often to really care.

After that I went up to Pawn Shop and I found a little two channel mixer which I decided for $45 was worth it. I'm trying to build a little bit gear for my Internet Radio station for when I broadcast live. I can mix on the fly that way. The Mixer is nice and fairly quiet for a used piece of equipment. I'll probably give it the once over clean before I decide to use it.

Then it was off to Chapter's where I bought myself two books. One is a book by Jack L. Chalker called "Priam's Lens". I read a Trilogy from Chalker awhile back called "The Quintara Marathon". I quite enjoyed it. So, I'm giving something else of his a read that isn't the Well Stone series. The other book I got was "Harry Potter and the Philospher's Stone". I want to see if I enjoy this book as much as everyone else. I'm betting I won't since I don't tend to go with the trends of everyone else. But who knows I'll read it and find out.

Popped over to the Pet Store to pick up kitty litter. That was a much needed jaunt. So Kitties have new litter to play in. I think they appreciated my effort.

Quite a bit later I ordered dinner in. Spagetti and a Greek Salad. It was ok.

Anyway, I forgot to mention in there I bought new runners today. That's okay cause THAT's a great segue to the fact. OH MY GOD, my back, legs and neck hurt like hell !! I probably did WAY too much walking for an individual of my slackeredness. Oh well, it was good for me. I need to get out more. I felt good about myself today. Although I spent way too much money today. I say FUCK IT. I need these things. The shoes, because I have 12 year old runners that I've been using. THe Mixer because my Radio Station is one of my few hobbies. The Books because I don't read enough.
