Being Human

I cracked at work the other day.

It wasn't all too pretty. I suppose it should have been a rather embarassing moment for me as I'm normally pretty good at holding it all in check but that's now I feel.

I find it intriguing the situations that usually make us snap. It's most often something insignificant to the world around us but in the personal scheme of things it's the preverbial straw on the camels back. Rarely do we see the build up that puts us on the edge but nevertheless we end up there and then something trival knocks us off.

The thing now is attempting to figure out the underlying problems or issues that got me here. It's pretty obvious I've hit that general frustration with the majority of things in my life again. The unfortunate part is I don't see the simple solution just laying there or the obvious path to take. This makes making decisions more complicated and if there's one thing about myself I'm well aware of is that I really do hate making decisions.

Some decisions in life are easy. A] Is Good for you and B] is bad for you. It's pretty easy to choose A]. Unless of course you're into clearly walking into something that's Bad for you. (More Power to ya.) The decisions that are way more difficult that are A] Good for you but have a number of bad side effects. or B] Good for you but have a number of bad side effects. On the surface those two statements might look like the same options but it's still a fork in the road and both directions are gonna suck. Which always leads me to the problematic need/desire/foolishness to want to explore both options. Of course you can't travel down Road A if you've started walking down Road B. It's just not possible.

Anyway, That's where I am. I don't like the options that I see in front of me. Although the option to tell the person who irritates just how much of idiot they really are sure feels good in the fantasyland that is my imagination. Now if I could just have that without any of the negative repercussions.

Sigh.
